Daniel Perry serves as President & CEO of the Alliance for Aging Research.〔(Alliance for Aging Research )〕〔(Congressional Record )〕 He has a diverse background in areas including health policy, government, politics and journalism. Perry worked on Capitol Hill for more than 12 years, including serving as special assistant to the Majority Whip of the U.S. Senate. During the first Bush Administration he was appointed to the Federal Task Force on Aging Research. President Clinton named him to the Advisory Board of the White House Conference on Aging. He also served as a delegate to the White House Conferences on Aging in 1995 and 2005. He currently serves as chair of both the (ACT-AD Coalition ) (Accelerate Cure/Treatments for Alzheimer’s Disease) and the Friends of the (Institute on Aging ).〔(ACT-AD Biography )〕 Perry helped lay the groundwork for the Foundation for Accountability (FACCT) and served as chairman of its board of directors.
